Beans at a Potluck Serving Table

Bean recipes for potlucks so good, people will lick the spoons clean.

The holiday season is the perfect time for a potluck! You’ve got your office holiday parties, family get-togethers, “Friendsmas”, and New Year’s Eve parties throughout the month where hosts and participants alike contribute to the shared meal.

The key to a great potluck recipe comes down to covering a few important bases. Potluck recipes need to be easy to transport, able to feed a big crowd, and also needs to make great leftovers – because you know you are going to have to bring some home at the end of the night!

One-pot soups, stews, and chili that you can bring in the crock pot you prepare it in as well as casseroles and cassoulets are perfect examples of great potluck recipes and all are of course perfect with Randall Beans!

We’ll definitely be making some of these Randall Beans original recipes for our holiday parties this season and recommend you do too! Here is a collection of some of our favorite potluck-perfection recipes!

Italian-Style Ham and Beans

Ham and beans are so darn good! We hate messing with perfection, but this twist on the ham and beans you love is too delicious not to share with your friends and family. The simple addition of some Italian herbs and spices gives the classic bean recipe a whole new dimension.

With only a handful of very simple ingredients needed and the ability to cook and carry this soup in a crock pot, this recipe is the ultimate low-effort/high-reward dish to bring to any winter potluck. We all know nothing quite warms the body and soul on a cold winter evening quite like a bowl of ham and beans.

Rustic White Bean and Autumn Vegetable Cassoulet

If you want to contribute a dish that will impress all the other guests, this recipe is the perfect potluck offering! Just a glance at this gorgeous cassoulet (the French cousin of the casserole) will have everyone thinking you slaved for hours over it. But you’ll know the truth: this delicious recipe is indeed impressive, but nowhere near as hard as it looks!

This recipe is a great dish to showcase your cooking skills and incorporate seasonal ingredients but doesn’t require a master chef to prepare. When all is said and done, you’ll be the talk of the evening by bringing a flavorful and beautiful dish.

Spicy White Chicken Chili

Beans or no beans, who doesn’t love a hearty bowl of chili? White bean chicken chili, in particular, is an extremely simple and flavorful change-up from the traditional tomato-based chili with kidney beans by including some lighter and creamier ingredients.

This white bean chicken chili is one of our favorites because it packs a little extra heat! Although there are ways you can easily tone it down if you aren’t the biggest fan of spice. Also, if you have a pressure cooker at home, this chili recipe can be ready to serve in just 30 minutes! Perfect for last-minute preparation.

Happy holidays from us at Randall Beans! May your holiday season be full of great people and great food!
