Spring is finally here! It’s been a long, cold, grey winter, but we are finally starting to see some life breathe back into nature and the weather start to become more sunny and warm. Before too long we will be shoving all our sweaters back in our closets in favor of short sleeve shirts.

In honor of spring’s return, we have a suggestion: let’s have a party! Invite your closest friends and family over to enjoy one another’s company, the nice weather and, of course, some delicious food! In the spirit of this beautiful new season, we have been all about healthy, natural, vegan recipes this month. So our party’s finger food are all going to be vegan appetizers.

Now, non-vegan eaters out there may be rolling their eyes, but just you wait. With the help of beans and fresh ingredients, vegan-friendly food is delicious, healthy and full of vitamins and nutrients. We went around and gathered up some of our new and old favorite vegan appetizer recipes that are perfect for spring. Have a look and be sure to give them a try with Randall Beans.

Vegan Roasted Garlic and Dill Bean Spread

This one is one of our very own vegan creations! This garlicky twist on a classic cool bean spread is easy to whip up and lasts in your fridge for snacking. You can even use it instead of mayonnaise in your sandwiches! Bring this tasty Great Northern Beans spread to your spring cookout with a side of various veggies for a healthy alternative to the typical mayo or sour cream based dips. Thinly sliced cucumbers or pickles, capers, red onion, avocado, bean sprouts, and microgreens are great alternatives to the salmon used in the recipe.

Vegan Pinto Bean Tacos

We’ve got another Randall Beans classic vegan recipe. There are vegan versions of every kind of cuisine, meaning you can get your fix of your favorite meals and feel good about it. Your craving for Mexican food doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure when you make our vegan taco recipe. Randall Beans Pinto Beans are a filling base ingredient and give the tacos a healthy serving of protein. Spicy chili powder and red chipotle powder are used with cumin and paprika to season the beans. Red chipotle powder is a Mexican spice made from dried and smoked red jalapeno peppers.
